In Memoriam Donn Franklin November 15, 1950 - November 8, 2014 My beloved Donny left this world a year ago in the evening of a day that he would have loved - luminous with soft sunshine and a full moon in the vast blue sky. He was my rudder, I was his sail. His immutable devotion remains my mainstay. An honest, bright, thoughtful, sensitive and loving man with a phenomenal memory and constant attention to the little details that make of a simple life a splendid feast of hidden surprises and manifest delights, he was humble as to his perceived failings, strong in his convictions, and mindful in his reasoning. In a life of setbacks and disappointments, he was resolved to hold fast. He often saw what we with vision miss. Through his profound regard of history we were gifted with an understanding of the interrelationship of all.
